    Description

    Riptide (MGM, 1934). Fine+ on Paper. Half Sheet (22" X 28") Style B.
Norma Shearer plays a married socialite who runs into an old boyfriend (Robert Montgomery) while vacationing on the Riviera. This style B half sheet is a Heritage first, and features a terrific collage of scene photos as well as an image of Shearer and Montgomery toasting each other. Touchup has been applied to pinholes, some minor holes in the borders, and a small tear in Norma Shearer's face in the lower image. The borders, yellow background, and white background have been airbrushed, and Shearer's lips and bracelet have also received some touchup. Fine+ on Paper.
