Description

Our Blushing Brides (MGM, 1930). Rotogravure One Sheet (27" X 41").
After their huge successes with Our Dancing Daughters and Our Modern Maidens, rising stars Joan Crawford and Anita Page unite for a third time, in this hit MGM production, along with pal Dorothy Sebastian. All three girls find love, romance, and heartache as they make their way in New York City as shopgirls working in a high end department store. Frequent co-star Robert Montgomery is the lucky man who wins the heart of the vivacious Joan. In one of her earliest talking roles, Joan charms her way through this fun frolic, while gaining stardom and attention at MGM. This very rare and gorgeous art-deco one sheet, featured in the book MGM Posters on page 73, was made using the rotogravure process which was in vogue at the time and gave the designers ample opportunity to include multiple images of the popular rising star. The poster had only minor fold wear, very small tears in the borders, and a chip in the lower right corner, all of which has been remedied by expert restoration. For fans of Crawford, this is a rare opportunity to obtain a spectacular item from her early career. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
