    Vintage gelatin silver, double and single weight, glossy and matte finish photos. Starring Paul Muni, Luise Rainer, Walter Connolly, Tilly Losch, Charley Grapewin, Jessie Ralph, Soo Yong, Keye Luke, Roland Lui, Suzanna Kim, Ching Wah Lee, Harold Huber, Olaf Hytten, William Law, and Mary Wong. Directed by Sidney Franklin, Victor Fleming, and Gustav Machatý. This lot features a trimmed portrait photo of Luise Rainer in costume for her role in The Good Earth and two portrait photos taken by Ted Allan, used to advertise her role in the film. Included in this lot is a trimmed portrait photo of Luise Rainer by photographer Clarence Sinclair Bull from 1935 and a trimmed photo of her in The Great Waltz (1938). Unrestored photos with an overall presentable appearance. They may have tears, paper loss, light toning, minor stains, edge wear, surface scuffs, light creases, checking, and/or small corner bends. The two trimmed portrait photos have touch up markings in their backgrounds and image areas for use in photo reproduction.
