Lawrence of Arabia (Columbia, 1962). Roadshow One Sheet (27" X 41"). The sweeping classic epic stars an exquisite Peter O' Toole as T. E. Lawrence. 216 minutes long, it has absolutely no women in speaking roles in the film. It was directed by David Lean shortly after the release of "The Bridge on the River Kwai," and starred many of his old favorites including Alec Guinness and Anthony Quinn. The 1989 re-release on 70mm was missing some dialogue so Director Lean brought Mr. O'Toole back into the studio to dub in the omitted pieces. If you pay close attention you can hear David Lean's personal voiceover; he's the voice of the motorcyclist shouting across the canal to Lawrence, "Who are you?" This is the rare roadshow one sheet.
