King of Kings (Pathe', 1927). Lobby Card Set (8) (11" X 14"). Considered by some to be the best cinematic telling of the story of Christ, this Cecil B. DeMille epic was constructed with deep attention to detail and magnificent cinematography. The movie deals with the life of Christ and his ministry on Earth. Intelligently told, the film has many deeply moving moments such as the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus' healing of the lame and his crucifixion on the cross. One of the cards here is a beautiful portrait of a pre-"Hoppy" William Boyd as Simon of Cyrene. Offered here is a complete set of 8 gorgeous lobby cards from the original release of this DeMille classic. Very Fine/Near Mint.
