Joan the Woman (Paramount, 1916). Very Fine on Linen. One Sheet (28" X 41").
This excessively rare one sheet makes its debut appearance at Heritage. Cecil B. DeMille directed the fantasy drama featuring real-life opera prima donna Geraldine Farrar playing the legendary French martyr Joan of Arc. During World War I, a British officer (Wallace Reid) is inspired by a vision of Joan of Arc as he discovers an ancient sword just as he sets off on a suicide mission. That night the spirit of Joan of Arc transports him back to the 15th century, where he sees her entire history. Restoration has addressed fold wear. The poster presents beautifully.
