James Stewart delivers one of his most iconic performances as the unforgettable George Bailey in Frank Capra's timeless classic. Donna Reed shines as Mary, George's devoted wife, while the exceptional supporting cast features Lionel Barrymore, Thomas Mitchell, Beulah Bondi, Henry Travers, Gloria Grahame, Ward Bond, and many others. This beautiful Style A half sheet features Stewart and Reed in two embraces, and is considerably scarcer than its Type B counterpart; the last time Heritage Auctions offered another example was all the way back in 2009. This poster has staining, edge wear, toning, and wrinkles, but would certainly present very handsomely after restoration.
