DescriptionIn Old Chicago (20th Century Fox, 1937). Fine/Very Fine on Linen. One Sheet (27.5" X 41") Style B. Frederic C. Madan Artwork.
In Old Chicago was nominated for Best Picture and said to have been one of the most expensive films produced by Hollywood at the time. Tyrone Power, Alice Faye and Don Ameche star in this spectacular historical musical drama about the two sons of Mrs. O'Leary, whose famous cow started the fire that would consume much of Chicago. Prior to professional restoration this beautiful poster had light edge wear, fold wear and separations, pinholes, and a few minor chips. There was a diagonal tear in the credits off of the vertical fold, and the borders have been mostly airbrushed. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
