    Description

Greta Garbo in The Kiss by Clarence Sinclair Bull (1979). Signed and Numbered Portrait Photo (16" X 20").
A gelatin silver, single weight, satin finish photo of the ever-lovely Greta Garbo, produced off of the original negatives by photographer Clarence Sinclair Bull for a special, limited edition portfolio he produced shortly before his death in 1979. Garbo's appearance in the 1929 romantic drama The Kiss would marks a turning point in the actress' career, as it was her last silent film, as well as her first major sitting for Bull's photography. The two worked so well together that Bull became the primary photographer for the rest of Garbo's films. Hand numbered as 11/50 and signed by Bull, this beautiful photo shows no signs of wear, but has some slight rippling at the top and bottom from the normal production process. Near Mint.
