A gorgeous Barbara Stanwyck is seen looking down upon Adolphe Menjou and Ralph Bellamy on this soft, yet impactful poster. Directed by Frank Capra, the film focused on Stanwyck's librarian character, Lulu, and the complications that arise when she falls for an already married politician. The outcome proves to be an emotional rollercoaster for Lulu, giving a bit of credence to the poster's claim that it is Stanwyck's "Greatest Dramatic Role." This pre-Code stone litho poster has never been offered by Heritage. It has slight fold wear with minor chips in the bottom and top borders, at the vertical fold, and a chip in the left side of the horizontal fold. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
