    East of Eden by Mrs. Ward Ries & Other Lot (1954). Behind the Scene Photos (29) (3.5" X 3.5", 5" X 5", 8" X 8" & 8" X 10") & Booklet (18 Pages, 5" X 7"). Drama.
    Vintage gelatin silver, single weight, glossy photos taken from the original negatives by Mrs. Ward Ries, a retired school teacher who lived in the city of Mendocino, where the film was filmed. Photos include Julie Harris, James Dean and many of the extras and locations of the shoot. Also included is a small booklet about the city of Mendocino called, Mendocino Sketch by Julian Wood (PanPipes Press, 1965). Starring Julie Harris, James Dean, Raymond Massey, Burl Ives, Richard Davalos, Jo Van Fleet, Albert Dekker, and Lois Smith. Directed by Elia Kazan. Unrestored photos and booklet with clean overall appearances. They may have general signs of use, such as slight edge wear, very minor surface indentations from paper clips, and light surface blemishes. Seven of the 3.5" X 3.5" size photos have deckled edges.
