Dodsworth (United Artists, 1936). One Sheet (27" X 41").
With its art deco-inspired design, this poster is one of the most highly sought after one sheets from the 1930s. Not only does the film have an exceptional poster, but its an excellent adaptation of Sinclair Lewis's famous novel. Notable performances include Walter Huston in the title role, along with Ruth Chatterton and Mary Astor. Prior to restoration, the poster had a tear and a nick in the right border, and a chip and tear in Chatterton's face. The piece now displays very well and presents a rare opportunity for discerning collectors. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
