This beautiful gouache painting of David Lean's war-torn drama comes from the brush of Gerard Allard, used for the image on the massive French 4-panel poster. Signed by the artist, this piece displays some smudging at the bottom and in the upper right background, a small stain in the upper left background, and a couple of stains and surface scuffs in Julie Christie's cheek and shoulder. Fine Very Fine on Illustration Board.
