Description

Disraeli (Warner Brothers, 1929). One Sheet (27" X 41") Style A.
George Arliss earned an Oscar for his depiction of British Prime Minister, Benjamin Disraeli, and his attempts to acquire the Suez Canal for England. The part came quite easily for Arliss, as he had toured the U.S. for numerous years, playing the role on stage and Broadway. The poster offered presents a powerful stone litho image of Arliss as the Prime Minister. It is in fantastic condition, and earns the highest grade possible for a piece on linen. Very Fine+ on Linen.
