DescriptionCourage of Lassie (MGM, 1946). One Sheet (27" X 41").
An uncommon poster with Elizabeth Taylor receiving her first top billing as star. Not bad for a fourteen year old! It's a lovely one sheet with a beautifully rendered painting of a luminous teenage Taylor and her faithful collie. Her scenes where she rehabilitates the shellshocked canine back from the war made this one of the top animal films of the era. Touchup to the folds, pinholes, and small chips and tears in the borders. There was some paper loss at the top border and there is an unaddressed pinholes with a stain in the background. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
Estimate: $400 - $800.
