Bus Stop (20th Century Fox, 1956). British Double Crown (20" X 30").
Marilyn Monroe fills this rarely found British poster, her arresting gaze enhanced by beautifully saturated colors. Small-time nightclub songbird Cherie (Monroe) becomes the object of desire of a brash young cowboy (Don Murray). Monroe is convincing as a chanteuse singing "That Old Black Magic," and Murray was nominated for an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. The piece boasts artwork by Tom Chantrell and shows only light edge wear and a wrinkled bottom left corner. Rolled, Very Fine-.
