Brennan of the Moor (Exclusive Supply Corp., 1913). Six Sheet (80" X 88").
In this Robin Hood-esque themed film, nobleman-bandit Brennan O'Malley (Barney Gilmore) is captured and imprisoned. When he escapes, he holds up Lord Hastings, changes into his clothes, and makes off with his beloved Betty, Lady Lorrequer (Marian Swayne). The couple cross a chasm with the aid of a human chain (splendidly depicted on the stone litho six sheet offered here) to elude Lord Hastings' soldiers. Heritage is proud to offer this very rare format, as well as the three sheet in our March Signature Auction. The poster is in impressive condition given its age (100+ years!), with only minor signs of use: edge wear, light stain in the lower left section, tear in the left border, fold wear and separation in the lower left, and tape on the verso. Folded, Fine/Very Fine.
