Sold only once before at Heritage, this superb scene card is a must have for Stanwyck fans! Known for its frank depiction of sexual themes, including a highly controversial take in which Stanwyck's character sleeps with a number of gentlemen in order to get ahead, this pre-Code production was a huge success despite its suggestive subject matter. Unusual for its time, Baby Face is memorable for its powerful performances, especially Stanwyck's tour-de-force turn as the independent Lily Powers who is beautifully pictured on this highly sought after lobby card. Nearly flawless, the top border has received skillful restoration to address trimming which has been replaced.
