A Man Escaped (MGM, 1956). Fine+ on Linen. Full-Bleed French Grande (44.25" X 61.5").
A gripping, minimalist war drama based on the real-life memoir of André Devigny, a French Resistance fighter imprisoned by the Nazis during World War II, it is widely regarded as one of director Robert Bresson's best films. Backed to linen, restoration has addressed wear, separations, tears and chips to the folds, as well as the borders. There were tears up to 8-inches going from the edges into the background area along the bottom and right. Thanks to these efforts, poster presents nicely.
