Description

A Daughter of the Old South (Paramount, 1918). One Sheet (27" X 41").
Creole beauty Dolores Jardine (Pauline Frederick) has been promised to a wealthy young Spaniard, Pedro de Alvarez (Pedro de Cordoba), but like many a spirited young girl, she is determined to marry a man of her own choosing. She falls in love with the fickle novelist Richard Ferris (Rex McDougall), who despite his attraction to Dolores, disappears quickly to rejoin a former love. Dolores plots her revenge on Richard, but when her scheme backfires, it's Pedro who comes to her rescue, revealing his loyalty and true love. A gorgeous stone litho of Frederick and Cordoba, with expert restoration to address tears throughout and a chip in the right and left border. Very Good on Linen.
