DescriptionDracula's Daughter (Universal, 1936). Folded, Very Fine/Near Mint. Swedish One Sheet (27.5" X 39.5").
It was one of the more under-rated Universal horror films and a worthy successor to Dracula, as Gloria Holden portrays Countess Zaleska; the daughter of the vampire Count Dracula. Edward Van Sloan reprised his role of Professor Van Helsing who suddenly finds himself arrested for the murder of the vampire. And then we find the Countess bemoaning her existence as one of the undead. It was an usual twist to the horror genre to bring in a psychological question of how a vampire lives with it's conscience and fighting against it's nature to kill. This spectacular poster features the Countess's baleful eyes looking for her next victim. Other than a very tiny tear on the lower right edge and in the center point, this poster is in virtually unused condition.
Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
