Description

Dr. No (United Artists, 1962). Three Sheet (41" X 80").
James Bond, Secret Agent 007, was first introduced to audiences via this stunning three sheet and wonderful advertising campaign. Sean Connery would establish the iconic spy in this picture that also co-stars Ursula Andress and laid the foundation for the most successful series in the history of motion pictures. This American poster was designed by David Chasman with artwork by Mitchell Hooks, who used a very stylish 1960s graphic and the poster shows light handling: enlarged pinholes in the borders, wrinkling, a chip in the top right corner of the top panel, and some small spots in the white background of both panels. From the James Bond / Ian Fleming collection of Gary Firuta. Folded, Fine/Very Fine.
