    Description

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (Paramount, 1932). Folded, Very Fine+. Swedish Full-Bleed One Sheet (27" X 39.5"). Gosta Aberg Artwork.
Fredric March gives an Academy Award-winning performance in his incredible dual role for this classic horror film. Directed by Rouben Mamoulian, this film also features Miriam Hopkins as the prostitute Hyde lusts after, while Rose Hobart acts as Jekyll's more refined love interest. The transformation special effects (from Jekyll to Hyde) were major feats for the day and still astound modern audiences. Long thought a "lost" film, with MGM buying up the rights to remake the story in 1941, the movie finally resurfaced decades later. Graced with a generous dose of Art Deco elegance by Swedish artist Gosta Aberg, this Heritage first time-offer, a stone litho poster, shows light edge and fold wear, slight fold separations, and very small tears. There is a minute stain by March's mouth. Folded, Very Fine+.

    Estimate: $5,000 - $10,000.
