    The James Dean Story & Others Lot (Warner Brothers, 1957). Uncut Pressbook (8 Pages, 11" X 17"), Magazines (6) (Multiple Pages, 5.5" X 8.5" & 9.5" X 12"), Programs (3) (Multiple Pages, 9" X 12", 11" X 11", 11" X 14"), & Mini Video Poster (10" X 18"). Documentary.
    Starring James Dean, Martin Gabel, Clark Gable, Dennis Hopper, Rock Hudson, Natalie Wood, and Jayne Mansfield. Directed by Robert Altman and George W. George. This lot includes a program from the American Film Institute's 1974 tribute to James Cagney and commemorates the event with written and photographic reminisces of his career from stars such as Fred Astaire, Henry Fonda, Burt Lancaster, James Stewart, Henry Mancini, John Wayne, and many others. Also included is a theatre program for the 1936 musical production of On Your Toes, a program from They Shoot Horses, Don't They? (1970); the October 31st, 1936 issue of Motion Picture Herald magazine, five issues of Film Fan Monthly magazine from 1974 and 1975, each of which has a small white sticker on its front cover; and a mini video poster from The Maltese Falcon (United Artists, 1981), which has cloth tape on its verso. An uncut unrestored pressbook, magazines, programs, and poster that display signs of use. May include spine and edge wear, fold wear, fold separations, small tears, paper loss, creases, or unobtrusive stains. The pressbook has writing on its front cover. It is folded horizontally and has pieces of cellophane tape on the edges of its pages, addressing fold separations. Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details.
