    Description

Lenny Bruce Without Tears (Fred Baker Films, 1972). One Sheet (27" X 41"). Lenny Bruce was the cutting edge of socially aware comedy and commentary in the 50s and early 60s. He influenced such greats as George Carlin and Richard Pryor, who in turn passed the anger down to more recent comics such as Dennis Miller and Dave Chappelle. Bruce came to a bad end -- after being persecuted for obscenity, he overdosed on drugs in 1966. This documentary follows Bruce throughout his adult life, with several filmed performances included. This one sheet has slight corner dings, but is otherwise in mint condition. Several great black and white shots of Bruce are featured on the poster. Near Mint/Mint.
