The series showcased, for the first time on television, the greatest silent films as they were meant to be seen -- with the proper running speeds and orchestral scores. Episodes include interviews with notable directors and actors from the era along with family members of stars. These posters are from the Minerva Pace printing in 1979, licensed by Thames Television, and printed in Scotland, designed to be sold in stores, in support of the US release of this terrific British documentary in 1980.
