Design for Living (Paramount, 1933). Near Mint. Lobby Card (11" X 14").
Controversial upon its release, this film is about three friends living in Paris, Tom Chambers (Fredric March), George Curtis (Gary Cooper), and Gilda Farrell (Miriam Hopkins), who decide to share an apartment...on a strictly platonic basis, of course. The film was heavily censored upon its original release, and was banned altogether after the advent of the Hays Code in 1934. All three members of the trio are pictured here in this gorgeous lobby card, a piece not offered in over a decade at Heritage. There are practically no signs of wear, with the exception of minute corner bumps. Near Mint.

    Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
