    Desert Valley (Fox, 1926). Folded, Fine/Very Fine. One Sheet (28" X 41").
With his famed horse Silver, Charles "Buck" Jones was one of the most successful and popular actors in the B Western genre, and at one point he was receiving more fan mail than any actor in the world. The prolific star made over 160 films in his 28 years onscreen, dying tragically at the age of 50 years old. Posters for Jones' early Westerns are considered scarce and this lovely stone litho is no exception, a first time offer from Heritage. The poster has some fold wear with small tears, pinholes in the corners, mild edge wear, and light smudging on right border. There are tape stains on the verso that do not show through and paper repairs on the folds also on the verso. A wonderful image of the star and the young damsel in the center of trouble!

    Estimate: $1,500 - $3,000.
