    Description

Dark Victory (Warner Brothers, 1939). Title Lobby Card (11" X 14").
Bette Davis fans will be thrilled to see the exceptionally rare title card from this three hankie weeper. Dark Victory has long been held as a favorite among admirers of the legendary actress for her tremendous performance. Davis brings to life a woman who is stricken with a brain tumor, and must pursue all the happiness she can in the short time she has left. Making its Heritage debut, this linen-finish title card features a sublime portrait of Davis with a nod to her Oscar winning performance in Jezebel a year earlier. There is tape on the verso to address pinholes and tears in the right and left border, creasing in the borders, and writing on the verso. Fine+.
