The Sting (Universal, R-1977). One Sheet (27" X 41"). Four years after the tremendously successful "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid," director George Roy Hill re-teamed Paul Newman and Robert Redford in this film about Depression-era con men who are out for revenge. The film was extremely successful, winning seven Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Screenplay, and Best Adapted Score for Marvin Hamlisch's unforgettable reprise of Scott Joplin's ragtime music. This reissue one sheet has wrinkling, abrasions in the image, a couple of small stains and multiple pinholes, but no flaw detracts from the familiar Amsel artwork of Newman and Redford. Very Fine-.
