    Description

Larceny, Inc. (Warner Brothers, Late 1940s). First Post-War Release Italian Locandina (13" X 27").
Edward G. Robinson and Broderick Crawford are hilarious as a pair of ex-cons recently released from Sing Sing who set up a luggage store as a front to hide their tunnel digging to the bank next door. Lloyd Bacon directs this gangster parody with Jane Wyman, Jack Carson, and Anthony Quinn co-starring. Arguably the best poster from this spoof, it was created by artist Luigi Martinati. The Italian locandina format is extremely scarce, and Heritage is proud to offer this example, which shows only light wear. A dust shadow in the left border, chips in the top right and left corners are the only signs of wear to note. A tax stamp, ink stamp, pen and pencil marks, and a snipe can be seen in the imprint area, but the beautiful image is not affected. Folded, Fine/Very Fine.
