DescriptionBullitt (Warner Bros., 1969). Very Fine+ on Linen. First Release French Grande (47" X 62.5") Michel Landi Artwork.
Bullitt, the film for which Steve McQueen is best remembered, was the actor's personal favorite. In this action-packed thriller, McQueen defines the words "tough cop" as a police officer who sets out to track down an underworld big shot who killed a witness under his protection. The famed car chase scene - in which McQueen did all of the stunt driving - set a new standard for all such action sequences to come. Artist Michel Landi created this fabulous French first release poster featuring a stark image of McQueen as Frank Bullitt. This very scarce poster is in fantastic condition and has only the slightest touchup to minor wear.
Estimate: $4,000 - $8,000.
