DescriptionCool Hand Luke (Warner Brothers, 1967). Folded, Very Fine/Near Mint. Door Panel Set of 4 (20" X 60") & Valance (76" X 28.75").
"What we've got here is a failure to communicate." This oft-quoted line during the 1960s hails from the comedy-drama Cool Hand Luke starring Paul Newman. The actor delivers a remarkable portrayal of a man's resistance to the prison system he's caught in. As both the door panels and valence are scarce formats, this lot is a desirable addition to any collection. This is the first time Heritage has has the pleasure of presenting the complete door panel set with the valance accompanied by its original studio envelope. These items show exceptionally little wear, such as very slight edge wear and light creases. One of the door panels has pinpoint crossfold separations and a few faint smudges. The valance comes in two panels as originally printed. Folded, Very Fine/Near Mint.
Estimate: $2,500 - $5,000.
