Description
Sabrina (Paramount, 1954). Fine+ on Linen. Italian 4 - Fogli (55" X 78"). Ercole Brini Artwork.Billy Wilder's Sabrina stands among the most beloved romantic comedies of Hollywood's golden age, bringing together Humphrey Bogart, Audrey Hepburn, and William Holden in a sophisticated story of love, class, and personal transformation. Adapted from Samuel Taylor's stage play, the film played a major role in establishing Hepburn as one of cinema's most enduring stars, with her graceful screen presence and elegant wardrobe becoming inseparable from the picture's cultural legacy. The production earned the Academy Award for Best Costume Design for Edith Head's celebrated work, further cementing the film's reputation for style and sophistication. This magnificent Italian 4-Fogli features exceptional artwork by Ercole Brini, whose flowing lines, soft palette, and refined composition beautifully capture the glamour of the production. A rare piece, it is Heritage's pleasure to offer it for the very first time. Backed on linen, airbrushing, touchup, and replacement have been employed to address edge and fold wear, pinholes and pinhole tears, creases, fold and crossfold separation, tears, missing corners, and a few moderate chips and stains. Owing to these efforts, it now presents well.
