World War II Propaganda (U.S. Government Printing Office, 1944). Fine- on Linen. Propaganda Poster (20" X 28") "Careless Talk Got There First," Ray Prohaska Artwork.
Presented here is a poster warning U.S. citizens of speaking carelessly about the war, featuring the striking and grim artwork of a visibly wounded soldier on a beach front. A restored poster with good color and an overall very presentable appearance. Restoration, including touchup and replacement, has addressed fold wear, creases and handling wear, some chips, a missing bottom right corner, and tape stains, much of which remains visible. Additionally, there are a few graphite markings along the linen borers. Grades on all restored items are pre-restoration grades.
