World War II Propaganda (Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wards of U.S., ca. 1940s). Fine/Very Fine on Linen. Propaganda Poster (16.75" X 21.5") "Keep 'Em Smiling with Letters from Folks and Friends!" Syd Cockell Artwork.
Created by artist Syd Cockell, this poster was used to encourage family and friends to keep in touch with their loved ones who were in the war. A restored poster that displays signs of use. Touchup has addressed fold wear, pinholes, creases, a couple of small surface lifts, tears of varying lengths, and slight staining. Grades on all restored items are pre-restoration grades.
