World War II Propaganda (U.S. Army, 1943). Very Fine- on Linen. Recruitment Poster (25.5" X 37.75") "Speed Them Back, Join the WAAC."
Presented is a compelling American World War II recruitment poster, offered for the first time by Heritage Auctions, encouraging women to join the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps (WAAC) and featuring a poised uniformed woman set against marching soldiers to underscore women's crucial role in freeing men for frontline service and hastening victory. A restored poster with bright color and a clean overall appearance. Touchup has endeavored to address fold wear, creases, and some tears. Some of this, as well as light scuffs, remains visible. Grades on all restored items are pre-restoration grades.
