World War II Propaganda (The Admiralty, ca. 1940s). Very Fine on Linen. British Double Crown (20" X 30") "You Are On War Work."
This is a striking British World War II propaganda poster issued by the Admiralty. It emphasizes the vital importance of civilian labor and industrial production in supporting the Royal Navy and keeping the Axis powers on the run. A restored poster with bright color and a clean overall appearance. It may have general signs of use, such as minor fold wear, light creases and handling wear, and a couple of small tears. Although backed on linen, no additional restoration has been applied. Grades on all restored items are pre-restoration grades.
