Offered here is a TV poster promoting the Stars and Stripes: AMC Salutes the USO, which was a made-for-TV comedy musical documentary celebrating the USO's 50th anniversary. The special featured archive footage of Bob Hope, Dorothy Lamour, Bing Crosby, Marlene Dietrich, and Marilyn Monroe. Also included in this lot is a commercial poster of Marilyn Monroe from her iconic scene in The Seven Year Itch (ca. 2000s). Unrestored posters that displays signs of use. May include edge wear, minor creases/stress creases, subtle scuffs, small tears, and the majority of the wear is in the commercial poster, which has subtle handling wear, a tear within the black background and staining along the bottom border with subtle rippling from moisture.
