    Description

Three Stooges Promotional Photo (Columbia, 1935). Promotional Giveaway Heralds (10) (5" X 7.75"). Comedy.
Here's a wonderful "old theatre find." These promotional heralds were given out at the local theatre advertising one of the early product tie-in's done by The Three Stooges in the mid 1930s. This one features a chance at a "Moving Picture Machine," a cardboard, easy to assemble hand cranked device, which came with two sets of pictures. This terrific lot includes not one, but 10 of the heralds, all in excellent condition. The verso had full details on how the machine could be obtained by buying Pillsbury's Farina even if you didn't win one at the theatre. Unrestored promotional heralds with bright color and a clean overall appearance. They may have general signs of use, such as slight edge wear, very small surface crinkles and creases in some, several with small stains in the top right borders, and minor corner bumps and tiny nicks. Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details. The overall grade is Very Fine.
