DescriptionThe Vagabond (Export & Import, R-1920s). Fine/Very Fine on Linen. One Sheet (27" X 41").
Charlie Chaplin made this, his third picture with Mutual Film, in 1916. The movie had a slightly more serious storyline, allowing the king of silent comedy to display his dramatic skills as well. All of the Mutual shorts were sold for exhibition by independents shortly after they were originally released, and offered here is an exquisite stone litho re-release poster. Restoration has corrected slight fold wear and separations, minor tears, small chips at the edges and folds, in addition to an upper right corner chip and a bit of paper loss in the left of the lower fold.
Estimate: $400 - $800.
