    Description

The Three Stooges in Three Little Beers (Columbia, 1935). Title Lobby Card (11" X 14").
They are still considered to be the ultimate in physical comedy and, though they came after the silent era when that type of comedy was king, they have held that place in the hearts and minds of millions of baby-boomer television viewers who watched these shorts in their childhood. The years from 1934, when Columbia Studios debuted the Three Stooges series in Woman Haters, up through the years 1936-37, are considered the trios' greatest years. Enter this very rare title card for Three Little Beers; many Stooge aficionados consider this short to be one of the groups' best films and it's also one of their earliest -- which makes this card one of the Stooges' best -- period. Other than a very slight crimp in the upper right corner and some minor staining on the upper left corner, we can't imagine a better copy of this elusive and rare card. If you don't get it now, it may never come around again -- seriously! All of the cards from the set being offered here were once from the personal collection of Moe Howard. From the Joan Howard Maurer Collection. Very Fine/Near Mint.
