    The Three Stooges in Mutts To You (Columbia, 1938). One Sheet (27" X 41").
    Professional dog washers Larry, Curly, and Moe take home what they believe to be an abandoned baby they have found on their doorstep, in this hilarious Three Stooges romp. Upon reading the paper, the trio discover the baby is believed to be kidnapped. In an attempt to return the child to the police without suffering the consequences, they disguise Curly as the baby's mother, leading to a riotous outcome. Directed by silent screen comedian Charley Chase, and co-starring Bess Flowers, Lane Chandler, and Vernon Dent, the comedy short is one of the most loved from the threesome. Pre-1940 Three Stooges posters are quite rare, and highly sought after by collectors. Even more scarce are one sheets in as fine a condition as the one offered here. Prior to restoration, it showed a pinhole in each corner, and two small tears near the lower left corner. Touchup work has been done to the folds. Very Fine on Linen.
