Description

The Marx Brothers in Under the Summer Moon (G.L. Trombley Publishing Co., 1914). Sheet Music (6 Pages, 10.5" X 13.75). Comedy.
Featured here is original sheet music for the song Under the Summer Moon from the vaudeville musical Home Again written by Al Shean, the famous uncle of the Marx Brothers. The show opened in 1914 and ran until 1919 making this one of the longest running shows the Marx Brothers stuck with. Uncle Al had given Harpo only a few lines in this show, and from then on Harpo became a mute on stage. No known surviving scripts have been found. Unrestored sheet music that displays signs of use. May include light edge or handling wear, slight corner bumps, bends and creases, minor page separation, light surface scuffs, or unobtrusive stains. Please see full-color, enlargeable image above for more details. Fine/Very Fine.
