The Lady is Willing (Columbia, 1942). One Sheet (27" X 41"). Mitchell Leisen directed this romantic comedy that starred Marlene Dietrich as a famous stage actress who longs to have a child but is not married. Her desires appear to be fulfilled when she finds an abandoned baby, but soon finds out she has to have a husband in order to adopt the child. Fred MacMurray, a divorced pediatrician, agrees to marry her in name only and help raise the child. Their love for the child brings the two together at the film's finale. The poster has repairs to the fold lines, fold line intersections, border chips and tears, and one tear in the graphics that runs across two of the letters in the title.
