    Description

The Girl Can't Help It (20th Century Fox, 1956). CGC Graded Lobby Card Set of 8 (11" X 14").
Jayne Mansfield is the beautiful blonde girl of the title whose boyfriend puts her on the track to show business stardom. The fact that she has no talent, ability, or desire for a life on the stage is a slight impediment. The real value of this picture, however, is the staggering number of 1950s pop artists that appear, including Ray Anthony, Fats Domino, The Platters, Little Richard, Gene Vincent, Eddie Fontaine, and Eddie Cochran. This extremely attractive lobby set for this fun picture includes the rollicking scene card of Gene Vincent and the Bluecaps! The lobbies were CGC graded. Cards #1, and #3 are graded 8.0 (very fine), card #5 is graded 8.5 (very fine+), cards #4 (Vincent card), #6, #7, and #8 are graded 9.0 (very fine/near mint), and card #2 graded 9.2 (near mint-). Overall Grade: Very Fine+.
