Description

The Frozen North (First National, 1922). Lobby Card (11" X 14").
In this scattershot series of vignettes, Buster Keaton first tries to scare a house full of gamblers with a cardboard cutout, then enters the wrong house and shoots a couple that he mistakes for his wife and a lover. Finally returning to his own home, he accidentally knocks out his own irritating wife and, after averting some police suspicion, spends the rest of the reel chasing after a pretty-but-married neighbor (Bonnie Hill). This nifty lobby card has a terrific image of Keaton using a huskie for a pillow. The card has a hard vertical crease down the entire card, as well as a moisture stain along the bottom edge, and some foxing in the borders. Fine.
