DescriptionThe Devil and Miss Jones by Norman Krasna (RKO, 1941). Fine/Very Fine. Original Final Draft Script (170 Pages, 8.5" X 11").
The Devil and Miss Jones is a 1941 screwball comedy starring Jean Arthur. It deals with, in a humorous way, the conflict and disparity between the working class and the wealthy. Charles Coburn represents the latter, a millionaire who owns a department store whose employees have decided to go on strike to protest their working conditions. Bradded with pink wrappers and with a revised ending. The covers have wear, with creasing, edge wear, as do the interior pages. There is a tear with cellophane tape on the front cover and a partially removed label. The front page has its RKO Radio Pictures logo crossed out.
Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
