The Cat's Meow (Pathé, 1924). Very Fine- on Linen. One Sheet (27" X 41").
Harry Langdon stars as a bashful young man who takes his lady (Alice Day) to an establishment with "a reputation" in this comedy short. After he is pounded by ruffians, he is hired on as a cop, tasked with cleaning the place up. This was only Langdon's sixth screen appearance and predates his greatest work in The Strong Man (1926) and Long Pants (1927) both directed by Frank Capra. Backed to linen, the poster received touchup to the original folds and borders. It exhibits some minor edge wear with faint staining.
