    Description

The Big Store (MGM, 1941). Fine on Linen. One Sheet (27" X 41") Style C, Al Hirschfeld Artwork.
The Big Store, the last of The Marx Brothers films for MGM, teams Groucho (as Wolf J. Flywheel), Chico (as Ravelli), and Harpo (as Wacky) with Margaret Dumont (her last appearance in a Marx picture) in a typically zany Marx Brothers laugh-fest. Billed as the last of their movies as they announced they were retiring from the business, the Brothers would not reunite on screen until half a decade later in United Artists' A Night in Casablanca. Offered only once before, this wonderful stone litho one sheet is dominated by incomparable Al Hirschfeld art that truly captures the madcap spirit of the famous trio. It has received professional repairs to fold wear, chips in the borders and folds, as well as a tear extending from the lower horizontal fold into Groucho's coat.
